 I have attached patch, to better describe the changes I mean :)

 There are some problems when communicating  pidgin <-> qip in cp1250
 encoding, where you get cyrilic characters instead of normal central EU
 characters. I could rewrite these characters to display correctly.
 There already is a plugin http://fialky.com/drupal-5.0/?q=node/13, but
 solves this problem in the conversations, but not in logs. (this plugin is
 very bad coded, ugly stuff)
