 I haven't been in the irc channel for the last little while, so it is
 entirely possible that it was decided that this is a good idea, I know
 that previously I think we were trying to avoid it (and I think we should
 keep trying to avoid it), but I don't care much one way or the other so
 other people can comment on this.
