 I did figure that might be a problem - CentOS, which is essentially RedHat
 Enterprise Linux, tends to roll out older packages (which are supposedly
 more stable). Generally, patches are supposed to be applied
 retrospectively - although obviously this cannot be done on all packages.

 If there's a patch available for this particular bug, I'd be more than
 happy to submit that to the CentOS repo maintainers. Otherwise I guess
 I'll just have to try and get 2.4.2 added to the repos.
