 I am a russian Pidgin user and while using Pigdin for IRC chats, I found a
 bug:

 When typing a message only by keyboard - it sends in codepage specified in
 IRC account's settings.

 But when copy & paste some text containing unicode characters (russian
 text, for example) - message is alwais sent in system UTF-8 codepage, even
 if another codepage is selected in account's settings.
