 Usually, I only have to hit !^ twice to get !^!^. I don't know whether
 that's just typical of Windows, but I regularly mistype !^!^ as !^ in
 pidgin, because it treats !^!^ as a single !^. Changing this to the
 default behaviour (in windows?) would greatly increase usability.
