Comment:

 As indicated there is now a Send button plugin for exactly this reason
 (now that someone finally mentioned it to us), and yes you should have a
 Send item as the first option in the conversation entry right-click (or
 click-hold) menu. If you do not something is broken.

 Like QuLogic I'm not exactly sure what you mean by point 2 but I feel like
 it really isn't every applications job to present the user with an input
 selection button and it really should be the operating environments job to
 do that. Would you like to explain this request a bit more?

 I'm moving this from plugin suggested because at the moment that's not
 quite accurate.
