 Under certain (but not uncommon!) circumstances, libpurple gets into a
 state where a contact is in more than one group.  It then proceeds to spam
 the XMPP server with queries about that contact.  This results in
 disconnects from Google Talk, and Adium is currently banned from our
 corporate intranet.
