 One of the most irritating things about Pidgin for me is the file transfer
 dialog. Pidgin has moved away from alert boxes that hit you over the head
 with information in the main window, but nothing has been done for the
 poor file transfer functions as of yet.

 What I envision is something similar to Firefox 3.0; when a user wants to
 send you a file, a bar dissolves in at the top and lets you choose right
 there to accept or deny the transfer. This method doesn't interrupt your
 work flow or your conversation and would make Pidgin even more awesome.
