 With 2.4.0, the input field in the chat window is automatically sized to
 some degree rather than be arrangeable by the user.  Problem is, it's very
 restrictive as the size doesn't scale up to what many were accustomed to
 using in 2.3 when editing large messages (code, for example), and there's
 no option to disable it.  To me, this is a usability regression from 2.3,
 however, ticket #4962 considering this a bug was closed invalid, so I'm
 entering this as an enhancement.  Please either provide an option to
 disable this feature or revert it.
