 buddy list search (by typing a few words from buddy name) is not reponding
 to keypresses. if the search was initiated by typing a letter, the first
 letter is shown in the search field and the search happens for that letter
 but it doesnt take any more. if the search is initiated using Ctrl + F, it
 doesnt take any letters at all.

 i'm using the windows xp client. it worked correctly in 2.3.1.
