 Hi,

When you start Pidgin it gives you 2 windows with information about IRC...
(If you have a IRC account offcourse)
One of them has this info:

(09:15:17 AM) NickServ: (notice) This nickname is owned by someone else
(09:15:17 AM) NickServ: (notice) If this is your nickname, type /msg
 NickServ IDENTIFY <password>
(09:15:18 AM) NickServ: (notice) Password accepted - you are now
 recognized

Why do we need this? is Pidgin supplying some info on the wrong order or
is it just too quick to reply with that you are not recognized?

 The other one is this:

(09:20:47 AM) freenode-connect: Received CTCP 'VERSION' (to tortho) from
 freenode-connect

What is it? Why do we need a window with this at startup?

 Thanks!
