 Pidgn supports the ability to search for a buddy by typing the buddy name
 when the Buddy list has the focus.

 In version 2.4.0 the search stopped working such that you can only type
 one letter of a buddy's name and then the search window stops accepting
 additional characters.

 1) Open the buddy list
 2) begin typing one of your buddy's name

 The search box will appear and show the first letter you type but it won't
 accept any additional letters.

 This essentially makes search non-functional.
