Comment:

 For pidgin to work on Windows Mobile, GTK+ itself would need to work
 there, which to my knowledge it does not. A native Windows libpurple
 frontend would only require that GLib be made to work on Windows Mobile
 (which I would imagine is much more likely than all of GTK+ being made to
 work). All that being said, without serious work from people not involved
 in the pidgin project this isn't possible.

 I'm going to leave this open for now, though if someone else decides to
 close it that is fine (I am only not doing so because it doesn't much
 matter to me if this stays open).
