 The Windows build of Pidgin has a facility where the buddy list window can
 be docked to the side of the screen for easy reference. This feature does
 not exist in Linux, and is highly desirable.

 In addition, Pidgin does not support automatically hiding the docked buddy
 list window when not in use; this is a feature of other instant-messaging
 programs which comes in extremely useful for saving screen real-estate,
 and should be implemented.
