 A little bit more detail with this wireshark bug that clearly show that
 pidgin -doesn't- use the "SOCKS Proxy" settings when doing that request.
 My pidgin client is set to go through a Socks5 Proxy (TOR) that is located
 on localhost:9050 as of version 2.4.0 of Pidgin.
