 In my case it would be deleting the logs, though having an additional
 option to have them moved to another folder for archiving would make
 sense.

 Yes I suppose a plugin could do this, I am in capable of coding one
 however, and honestly almost anything could be done with a plugin. I'm
 sure there are old obsolete plugins for earlier versions of gaim that are
 no longer useful because those are now just standard features.
