 Do you have the extended preferences plugin loaded? Perhaps with the
 'allow buddy list to shrink' option turned on? Have you has that plugin
 with that option on in the past? I'm pretty sure without that this
 shouldn't be happening. Though it is possible that the pidgin feature of
 remembering the buddy list window size is causing this when the font
 changes, if that is the case there isn't much we can do about it because I
 don't believe we can ask GTK+ for how wide the menu needs to be to display
 everything.

 If I'm wrong about the above and somehow the font is not forcing the width
 of the window (and the size remembering isn't the problem) then I also
 don't know what we can do about it.
