 What pidgin needs is to not have single-instance code in pidgin at all,
 and to have launchers run the dbus wrapper script for this. (And going
 forward we need to clean up how we handle our dbus presence so this works
 better, but that's a different story.) I do agree that a second instance
 of pidgin should not connect to accounts but I'm unsure how to do that
 without causing ill effects (like disabling accounts or changing the last-
 quit-status).
