 Hmm... The nickname is sent with each message and is displayed in both the
 list of attendees and the chat window (see attached images).  Other
 interfaces, such as Jabber MomentIM allow changing of the nick in several
 ways.  The easiest seems to be by simply right clicking on the chat room
 window.  One of the pop-up options is "Change Nickname...".  Setting this
 changes the user's nick in one of the config files so that every time you
 login in the future, this new nick is used until you change it again.
