 It seems the choice was made to change the buddy list login indicator icon
 to a green arrow (where, conversely, the logout indicator icon is a red
 arrow facing the other way) instead of the old opening door. At least,
 when not viewing buddy details.

 This is a bad design choice, and the attached image shows why. It's far
 more difficult to glance at the buddy list and see who's just logged in,
 since the color and size of the icon so closely resembles the standard
 green logged-in circle. You have to look at every buddy to see who has the
 arrow. The old door-open icon was very distinct and easily distinguishable
 from the rest of the list.
