 This sounds disturbingly similar to the problem I was having with MSNP15
 and GNU TLS. There's something weird login.live.com does that makes GNU
 TLS improperly throw an error instead of detecting an EOS. It appears as
 though it's the same issue happening in the same place. It's just weird
 that two different SSL plugins would fail in the same place for the same
 reason.
