Comment:

 Unfortunately that is as useless and as often wrong as the current
 behaviour so a change for this would at best be a lateral move. That is it
 would confuse all the people who have gotten used to the brokenness of the
 current behaviour and do nothing to actually solve the problems which make
 the current behaviour broken. I'm marking this as a duplicate of #260 as
 this is essentially the same issue/request.
