 Pidgin's tray icon disappears after killing the GNOME panel while Pidgin
 is running.
 To reproduce:

 - killall gnome-panel -9
 - Pidgin buddy list will appear, even when it's minimized to tray
 - Pidgin tray icon will disappear
 - Pidgin will still be running, in order to quit you have to do killall
 pidgin -9
