 The outgoing message area's height is non-sizable which I find incredibly
 irritating/frustrating.
 If I remember correctly it the height was adjustable (within relative
 tolerance) in previous versions of pidgin and/or gaim.

 I searched extensively but was disappointed not to find other people
 saying the same thing.

 It causes me certain problems related to eyesight that mean I will need to
 find another IM until such time (if ever) that this issue is addressed.
