 Hm.... I can't reproduce it right now. I've deleted all my old settings
 (because gnome clock applet was crashing after clicking on it). Right now
 it works, so it seems this might be an issue with the gnome-panel (I've
 had system update, too). I am running Ubuntu 8.04 with GNOME 2.22 (and
 pidgin from repo). If my panel will stop working again, I'll send you the
 log.
