Just like tickets [http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/5441 5441],
[http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/5278 5278], and
[http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/5589 5589] I am being disconnected from
my local xmpp server on a semi-regular basis. This problem appeared after
installing Ubuntu 8.04, and its included Pidgin 2.4.1 software. At one
time I was running both google, and my internal messenger accounts. When
I started being disconnected, I removed my google account, since it was
not a requirement at my job.
When I was running Gutsy and the previous version of Pidgin I received no
disconnects like this. I also am disconnected on wired just as often as
wireless. I have two T1s connecting me to my IM server( The router uses
the quickest connection to the server at any given moment).
I can provide more information if it is needed. I have included my log
file for the most recent disconnection below:
