 I agree. Even though I know how to compile and apply diffs and all that,
 it's a bit of a pain. I rarely update since the win releases don't usually
 have many changes, but honestly it has more to do with not wanting to
 compile the sucker with the sound events. It seems like these changes
 could be applied to the source by the maintainers very easily.

 Do they read this forum?
