 Actually, it's sort of an old problem with yahoo buddy icons. My own yahoo
 buddy icon is not visible to other yahoo messenger users. I suspect it has
 something to do with the way pidgin resizes an image. Yahoo avatar icons
 are only seen by other messenger users if they have 96x96 pixels or can be
 properly resized to such an aspect ratio. I did force a sollution to this
 problem when I edited my avatars to pe 96x96 .png-s from the start, and
 then selected them as my own pidgin buddy icons, but ever since pidgin
 2.4.1 not even that little trick works. I just can't get my own buddy icon
 to show... to any other users, pidgin or messenger alike. It can be a
 problem related to yahoo servers, but frankly I have no idea what could
 cause it.
