In Windows, there are two uses for the Caps Lock in Hebrew input:

  1. writing capital Latin characters (this is shorthand for switching to
 English or such).
  1. Entering vowel marks (nikkud). This is achieved by turning on the caps
lock, and then using a combination of the Shift key with a number key.
 E.g.: פִּידְגִ'ין

Both these methods are not available in Pidgin.

This issue existed prior to 2.4.2
