 When I try to proxy Pidgin through a Symantec SGS application proxy I get
 the following error message in the proxy log file:

 May 19 09:33:42 ******** httpd [4695] 30232: Invalid SSL client greeting,
 Source IP=*************, Destination IP=64.12.161.185, Source Port=2283,
 Destination Port=5190, Source Name=*************, Destination
 Name=login.oscar.aol.com, Target=login.oscar.aol.com:5190, Detail=First
 message not hello, Operation=CONNECT, Source Interface=eth0, Destination
 Interface=eth1, Protocol=http, Rule=4, Source IP=*************,
 Destination IP=64.12.161.185

 When using the AOL AIM client it is able to connect normally via the same
 proxy.
