 No, the conversation windows are a pain for people with crappy window
 managers. The conversation window no longer remembers where it was placed
 and leaves that up to the window manager to handle, which is the correct
 thing to do in an environment where useful window managers exist. The fact
 that your window manager does not handle this the way you want it to is a
 problem with your window manager choice. Either configure it to do what
 you want or find one that will let you.
