 Not exactly.  The report is that the handling of transparency has changed
 --I guess this may actually be an intentional change, though.

 I've been using the same icon for a few years, and until recently, I
 thought it had a white background, because Gaim/Pidgin either had a white
 background, or replaced the transparent portions with white.  In the last
 few weeks (2.4.2, I think), the behavior has changed for only my Aim icon,
 and now the transparent portions are black.

 I assumed that the change was unintentional, as none of my other protocols
 have this issue, but maybe yahoo and gtalk support transparent gifs and
 aim doesn't.  If this was an intentional change, then go ahead and close
 this bug and I'll just edit my avaitar.

 Hope that makes sense, if not, I'll try and explain it further.
