 This is a new issue with 2.4.2, though I'm not 100% sure if it's with
 Pidgin or GTK.

 I set my own background formatting on my messages and lately when sending
 multiple IMs to someone with background color, there will be white lines
 between each IM.  I have attached a screenshot of it.
