 The basic keyboard shortcut for closing a chat window in Pidgin on Windows
 is Ctrl-W.

 In 2.4.2, a preference was added allowing chat windows to be closed with
 ESC.

 Unfortunately, enabling ESC with this preference has a side effect of
 disabling Ctrl-W, forcing users to unlearn the Ctrl-W reflex they were
 forced to learn in adopting Pidgin...

 It would be great if the preference were to ''add'' the shortcut ESC to
 the existing shortcut Ctrl-W, and ''not replace'' it.
