 I'm searching through my logs now looking for the dupes.  I have multiple
 connections to some contacts through multiple protocols (icq+aim+jabber)
 I want to make sure that's not causing the issue.  Could you indicate
 where in the log you find some dupes, so I can double check what you are
 seeing?

 I am also working with my administrator to find any information on my
 disconnects.
