 If you look at the initial thread it definitly is. In my opinion it is
 furthermore very important that pidgin supports other messengers as long
 as they are used by more than 5% of your friend. In my case there are
 about 2% Pidgin oder Finch users and more than 10% Trillian Users. A
 project which primäry targets are bringing different networks and kinds of
 software together should not keep their eyes shut.

 Perhaps you are right and there is nothing about sending aways. But should
 be and is part of pidgin too. What is a messenger who can get aways but
 cannot be read?

 Okay now to the thinkg with fetching: In some cases (at the moment i'm not
 sure how often this happens) aways by icq 6 users are shown two times.
 Thisch means, tha pidin shows: Message: $away$away.
