 I use pidgin in a lot of situations at work. Great application! :) I would
 like to have an icon on the main buddy list, or even on the chat window,
 that shows the status of sounds.

 I often find myself muting the application whilst working, due to the
 constant boing it makes whilst chatting, which is not a problem, but I
 need to mute it as it disturbs people around me working. However I am also
 dependent on hearing other applications notifications. Once muted, I find
 that sometimes, after a really busy day I forget to unmute when I get
 home, and then miss notifications,or chat from mates. I was wondering , if
 there was an icon, I could immediately see the status of the sound.
 Muted/unmuted.

 Just a simple request.
