 When in the buddy list I start typing the name of a buddy, the '''smart
 search box let me type only one character'''.
 I cant type more than one char then I cant search the second buddy that
 starts with a given letter.
 It use to work good in previous versions but stops working when i
 installed the 2.4.1.

 the debug file tells nothing, and don't generate any debug line during the
 issue.
