 Trust me, I've read more than enough on Ron Paul.  Disclaimers aside, he
 chose to let a racist, misogynist newsletter be printed under his name for
 over a decade.  Beyond that, he's been endorsed by KKK leader David Duke,
 and even if you put aside all of those things, the policies that he
 continues to espouse NOW would disproportionately affect minorities in a
 negative way.   Call it 'de facto' racism if that makes you feel better,
 but it's still racism.

 I can't imagine what possible reason the Pidgin developers have for
 letting this bug remain open, but this is my last post on the topic.  I
 just downloaded Trillian and I'm going to see if that meets my needs.
 Pidgin's been crashing too much lately anyway--I came here to file a bug
 report on a repeatable crash, but now I'd rather put my energies
 elsewhere.
