 This problem was reported before (#2672). I didn't see a resolution for
 that ticket.

 I tested both 2.4.1 and 2.4.2 on Ubunut 8.04. Existing aim account can't
 login, complains "incorrect password". If I create a new aim account from
 pidgin, then it works.

 Is there a work around for this problem before a formal release fix?
