 I upgraded the latest version of Pidgin so I could get around what I was
 told is a bug  my old Pidgin version, (2.2.0, I think) and add a certain
 buddy.  The new version does have a change or a bug that is a problem.
 The window to type in is only 2 lines.  This is a real pain because when
 you are typing and go past two lines it automatically jumps to the next
 line and resizes the window.  Because in IM you are used to movement of
 the window indicating some sort of event, every time it does it, you are
 distracted thinking something just happened like a reply from the other
 person.

 If you made this change on purpose, I would suggest that in the next
 release you make the size of that window behave the way it did in the
 previous versions.  Or at least make it an option to have it either way.
