New description:

 Problem:
 When I start pidgin, the main ("buddy list") window opens and then a
 couple of password windows pop up. Approx 5 seconds later, the
 window focus is moved (by request from the pdigin executable) to
 the "buddy list" main window. Usually this means that while typing
 the second password, the typed-in characters end up in the main
 window instead of the password dialog box.

 Fix: Please don't switch the focus to the main window. I currently
 see no reason for this do do at all.

 WM in question is FVWM2, OS is Debian Linux, Version is 2.4.3.
