 At this point, neither GTalk nor Yahoo are supported. Yes, GTalk is XMPP,
 but its voice protocol requires ICE and ICE support isn't ready yet.

 I can't say without a backtrace, but I believe it's crashing Pidgin to
 Pidgin without fs-codec.conf because your gstcodecs.conf disables certain
 codecs that crash for you. It may also help to see what the contents of
 your gstcodecs.conf is.

 Do audio calls work fine or do they also not connect? Voice or video calls
 may not connect if you are trying them outside of the same LAN (aka the
 two computers can't connect with internal IP addresses). If that's the
 case, you'll need to set up a stun server in the preferences.
