 You have what bolded? Your default outgoing font? The font from your
 theme?

 What reverts? The text you are pasting? The current formatting of the
 entry area (assuming you have your default outgoing font bolded)?

 Assuming you actually have your default outgoing font bolded, and not just
 your theme font bolded that is really not the way to make local text
 easier to read. Changing your theme font is (which doesn't change the
 outgoing font and thus doesn't affect message formatting).

 As a further note, if you right-click and Paste as Plain Text your pasted
 text will not carry any formatting information along with it from the
 source, this might be what you want.
