New description:

 I am trying to run Pidgin on 32x Vista. I am using the MSN, GTalk, and AIM
 protocols with no current plugins running. Every time is loads up, it
 instantly causes an error and Windows forces it to close.

 ******UPDATE*******
 I have tried using the most recent build of Pidgin (2.5.2) and the new
 GTK+ both on my computer and on a freshly imaged hard drive. It still is
 crashing on me. On the fresh hard drive, I only tried to use the MSN
 protocol.

 ******UPDATE*******
 I have re-imaged my hard drive once more (due to other issues) and tried
 installing Pidgin on a fresh version of Windows Vista. I was able to
 install and run it, then my system blue-screened. After rebooting, Pidgin
 is performing the same as with this original issue.
