 I created an ICQ account, loaded it into pidgin, and added my one friend
 on that service.  Like msn, it requires authorization to see when that
 person is online.  While he authorized me, and can see when I am online
 and talk with me, on my screen, it always shows him as "Not Authorized"

 This makes it impossble for me to see when he is online and IM him.  Next
 to his name, there is a red symbol, a circle with a line through it,
 basically the ghostbusters logo without the ghost.

 Any help would be very appreciated.  Thanks in advance
