 I'm sorry, what do you mean in "/path/to/the/gnu/version"? Version of what
 program?  gettext and xgettext, tat are installed on my machine, have no
 key or switch to show their version, that is displayed in xgettext's
 answer. Maybe I can set this version with any configuration argument?
 Maybe not.... At this moment there are not any argument in "configure"
 that can set gnu version without checking it.
