 Using WinPidgin 2.5.2 with a single XMPP account configured.

 Subscribed to a group chat with "Auto-Join" and "Persistent" enabled. Only
 plug-in enabled is "Message Notification" configured to Flash, Raise and
 Present IM Windows, Chat Windows and Focused Windows. When the chat was
 added to the Buddy List the "Hide chat when the windows is closed" option
 was selected.

 Now when a message is received in the group chat and it has been "closed"
 (i.e: hidden), Pidgin crashes.
