We used to have the first menu by 'File' on the buddy list, we eventually
changed it because it was absolutely nonsensical. I think having the
application name as the left-most menu in the main application window is
likewise nonsensical. It is true that Pidgin->Quit would make sense, as
would Pidgin->About, but none of the other items currently in the Buddies
menu would make any real amount of sense with Pidgin. The buddy list is an
unfortunate problem because really we would likely need to have *more*
menus not less for the names to really be sensible.
All of this also ignores the conversation window menus which have their
own problems (and which if we were going with application name would also
want a Pidgin menu).
