 Something is wrong with the IRC component since update 2.5.2
 After trying to connect to the IRC server, pidgin gives up, saying
 "ERROR :Closing Link: [91.65.114.200] (Ping timeout)"
 This was not the case in 2.5.1 or prior versions.
